KitchenLab Concept

In 2010 Boffi Barberini inaugurated a new area called "KitchenLab powered by Boffi & Gaggenau," in collaboration with Gaggenau.
This laboratory-training space expresses a new concept of presentation and communication of products, which goes far beyond the usual formula of the showroom, incorporating an innovative communication service and offering the opportunity to experience live use and exploration of products, materials, design and related technologies for the kitchen, thanks to the advice of dealers and experts involved from time to time.
This project reveals its double soul as showroom and meeting place of hospitality and at the same time laboratory and training space: "Kitchen" highlights the most "emotional" part of the concept on cooking and conviviality, "Lab" expresses the most "technical" part linked to training activities that can be developed to learn more about the latest technology.
The format provides for the organization of periodic events for a select audience, with themed meetings combined with technical demonstrations of Gaggenau appliances in collaboration with chefs and food specialists who interface with designers and potential customers in real training sessions and preparation of food and drink.
The space is divided into two rooms: a central one, called "Living Food", with a serviceable kitchen and the other called "Boffi Gaggenau-Academy", equipped with latest technical Gaggenau products.
